"The 2020 Escondrijo is another stellar wine from the new team at Refugio Ranch. This blend of 77% Grenache, 18% Syrah and 5% Petite Sirah works so well in showing a richer side of the property. A touch of once-filled oak adds texture and sweetness that functions quite well. Dark cherry/plum fruit, dried herbs, tobacco and earthy notes all build nicely in this brooding yet mid-weight red."
